Day 37 of God’s Love

Day 37 of God’s Love for Us December 22, 2017 Today’s demonstration of God’s love comes from song by Matt Maher called “Hold Us Together.” I believe that God has used Matt and many others to write songs that point to Jesus. In this song, Matt points us directly to Jesus’ two greatest commandments, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. And “The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself’” (Matthew 22:37, 39 NASB). Now Matt Maher’s lyrics that touched me to demonstrate Read More

Day 15 of God’s Love

Day 15 of God’s Love for Us

September 3, 2017

“Great are the works of the Lord; They are studied by all who delight in them. Splendid and majestic is His work,…He has made His wonders to be remembered;”(Psalm 111:2-4) Aren’t we His works? Yes we are…Yes you are!!! Hallelujah for that thought. There is strength, power, honor, and dignity in that thought when you let it sink into your heart.

Day 7 of God’s Love

Day 7 of God’s Love for Us – July 27, 2017 –  “The steps of a man (us) are established by the Lord, and He delights in his (our) way. When he (we) falls, he (we) will not be hurled headlong, because the Lord is the One who holds his (our) hand.”(Psalm 37:23-24) When we actively seek the Lord with our heart, and try our best to live a moral, loving, good life, God may let us stumble, but not fall and get hurt.

Prayer and Relationship

Prayer and Relationship – June 26, 2016 –  Hello friends. Where does prayer come from? In my opinion, prayer comes from one of two places, either our heart or our mind. Would you agree? The Greatest Commandment

The Greatest Commandment Feb 10, 2017 “Love the Lord your God worth all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.” That was Jesus’s words of the greatest commandment. It is easy for us to do this for a moment or two during our day, but it takes discipline to carry that throughout the day. One way to do that it to tell someone, “Jesus loves you,” then watch the wave of peace wash across their face as they try to reconcile that thought.           (Photos of Our Daily Bread daily devotionals)
