Day 39 of God’s Love for Us

Today’s word of good news comes from a song I heard on the radio called “Control” by 10th Avenue North. I finishes the sermon last weekend with this.

I encourage you to say these words out loud and feel the response inside you.

“God You don’t need me, but somehow You want me.                                          Somehow that frees me to take my hands of my life and give You control.             You want me, somehow You want me,  the King of heaven wants me, so this world has lost its grip on me.”

If you are struggling with something, just know that God wants you in His world. Paul quoted David from Psalm 32 when he wrote, ” blessed is the man whose Lawless Deeds have been forgiven, and whose sins have been covered. Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will not take into account.”  (Romans 4:7-8 NASB). God is the great accountant and the great reconcilerer.
