Where is God?

Where is God?

– June 3, 2017 –

That is the million dollar question for  non believers, new believers, and sometimes, old believers. For these, God is at the end of there physical senses.

It’s hard for these folks, to believe and understand that God is seven blocks ahead of them, fixing a pothole in their path, and a block behind them cleaning up their mess, and maybe walking right next to them all at the same time.

I saw God on Thursday. He looked like an average 50 something, slightly overweight man that has not taken perfect care of himself. He was balding, like myself, and wearing a Harley t-shirt with the sleeves cut off.

I was stopped in the side of the highway, about 6pm coming into Denver. I pulled over to eat my messy sandwich safely. I did not have my flashers on to signal I was in trouble. While I was eating, this man whipped his car off the road behind me, got out and came to my window. Feeling unthreatened, I rolled my window down, and he asked me, “are you ok?”

I told him I was just eating safely, he said “good, ok,” walked back to his car and speeded away. Brothers and sisters, I saw Jesus in that man! Jesus is love. “Love thy neighbor as yourself”(Matt22:39) Jesus said was the second greatest commandment.

“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.””… if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.”(1John 4:7,11)

That man stopped to help me through no reason of my own. God shows himself to us in our senses everyday. He does this because He is love, and He loves us. Blessings to you. 🙂
