Tempting Shortcuts

Tempting Shortcuts – June 28, 2017 –  Temptation is as common as dust. Temptation comes when we choose lives that don’t follow God’s plan. When we choose the to make the things of the world more important than God. We all need to work and have families and have lives, but do we include God in those choices? To live a Godly life is to include Him in our relationships and our decisions. “No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man.”(1 Cor 10:13) God desires to have a relationship with us, that is His plan. It is well with my soul

It is Well with my Soul – June 9, 2017 –  Good morning, I hope all is well with you. What I really mean by that is, I hope all is well with your soul. Our soul includes all the deep parts that make us who we are. The last line from Mercy Me’s new song “Even If” is “It is well with my soul, It is well, it is well with my soul.” Those lines penetrate  and resonate deep within me. Relationship

Relationship April 17, 2017 Yesterday was Resurrection Sunday, a day for us to remember that Jesus walked out of the tomb to give us a relationship with Him. Our relationship with Him determines how we live today, tomorrow, and everyday. He promises to supply our needs, give us grace with forgetfulness, a way through temptation, victory, and eternal relationship among many other promises. Be a light to someone else today and show them an attribute of Jesus through you.     (Photo of Our Daily Bread daily devotional)

Limiting God

Limiting God Feb 16, 2017 From reading about Caleb, Joshua, & Paul, they wholeheartedly believed in God, His power, His word as truth, and His desire of a relationship with them. Through our belief in Jesus, we can have that same relationship with God. Are there ways in life that you limit what God could have done or can do in your life? If so, seek a better relationship with Jesus to find what joy, happiness, and possibilities can be for you.           (Photos from Our Daily Bread daily devotionals)
