A Story of Patience

This story of Daniel is a true pillar of strength and belief. It is one of my favorite stories because it shows how God does hear us and work on our behalf.

Today we are so caught up in instant this and instant that, that we lack true faith and patience. If we seek God with all our heart, with faith, and with belief, we will have the patience and see that He hears us. Psalm 119:165 reminds me, “Those who love Your law have great peace, and nothing causes them to stumble.”

This can also be called focus and clarity. Our emotions run faster than our brains, and often out of our mouths without control. We must remember that other people have stories and problems that they are reacting to as well, and we don’t get to know those problems initially. If we are patient and wait on the Lord, we can react to them with “compassion, kindness, gentleness, and patience” (Colossians 3:12).

God gives us grace freely with the intention to give it to someone else freely. Blessings to you.
