Empathy

How sweet it is to hear someone say, “I know,” when you have a problem. They know because they have been thru a very similar problem.

In the first few weeks of my walk, a sweet lady pulled me aside and told me those very words about the trouble I was going thru. At that moment is when I found that I was in the right place and on the right track to healing. In God’s house there is love, healing, strength, and comfort.

David wrote that God knows our words before we can say them, Matthew wrote that he knows every hair on our head, and Jeremiah wrote that God told him, “before I formed you in the womb I knew you.” We are no different from Jeremiah! God knows us even before our mothers do.

So why do we run away from His love, instead of running toward it? He loves us so much that He gave us free will to choose. God loves everyone, but He wants those in His house that want Him and respect Him. Just like we want our kids’ friends in our house that respect us. God be with you today.
