David and Gideon

We can learn a lot by studying David and Gideon.
We can learn about love, leadership, servanthood, faith, honor, and integrity. God’s love for us is immeasurable. Is our faith in Him immeasurable?
Both of these great men questioned God. We get wrapped up in the idea that God showed them His power almost instantly and expect the same. These men were in awe of God and asked for confirmation of their belief, whereas we typically don’t believe without confirmation. God was using them to write history and the Bible.
It is a different time today than back then, isn’t it? The Bible is written, but aren’t we still making and writing history? Read more about David and Gideon and see if the people around them didn’t act similarly to the people we see everyday.
We can be the difference makers today, like they were, if we believe “We are loved forever (by God), set apart in a special way, as dear to God as His own Son.” “We are His dearly beloved children.”
