How We See Ourselves

Image management & bearing good fruit, what a combination. How do we see ourselves in comparison to how others see us is a really good question. If those two ideas are different, then we become incongruent and find ourselves chasing the other vision.

If we really begin to see ourselves as God sees us and has called us to be, then our lives will become more harmonious and free from irritation and distraction. When we begin to see God as the one “who has revealed Himself to us as our source of strength, wisdom, joy, understanding, and peace (Psalm 119); then others will see us as “loving, kind, good, faithful, gentle, and self controlled (Gal 5:22-23).”
