Aspen Groves
April 4, 2017
I hope you have a great start to your week.
Did you know that groves of aspen trees are from the same seed? I learned that a few years ago.
Just outside Buena Vista, Colorado, we have the largest single Grove of aspens in the world. What a beautiful joy it is to see when they start changing colors in the fall. Just as God lays their root system underground and dormant sometimes for years, He lays in wait within us until we want Him.
God is always with us. He’s known each of us for generations before we were ever born. He wants to know us, He wants to be our guide through life. Today it is lightly snowing and raining, turning the grass green and making the trees bloom. God has made them for our enjoyment.
If you are hurting, know that God is with you. Aspens grow after pain, pine trees regrow after fire and pain, know that God has planted you also, and He’s cleared a spot for you to bloom. “Ask and it shall be given, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened,(Matthew 7:7-8)”
When we understand who is really in control of this garden called our life, then, we can truly bloom. God bless.
