Control….what is it, where does it come from, and why do we seek it?

Control is perceived power. It comes from the world. People in general want control over someone else. As soon as we can get out from under our parents watchful eye, we begin seeking to exert perceived power over someone else or something.

It is seen as authority, but real control is having power over ourselves.
Real control is knowing that God is in control.
Real control is being a servant to Him, instead of being a rebellious child.
