Day 27 of God’s Love for Us

“Every priest stands day after day ministering and offering the same sacrifices time after time, which can never take away sins. But He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of God, waiting from that time onward until his enemies be made a footstool for His feet. For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified.”(Hebrews 10:11-14)

Jesus, when He gave himself to be sacrificed and crucified, made way for a better covenant with God for everyone to follow, not just the Jews, but for the whole world including us.

We who believe in this principal of Jesus’ reason and importance of His death, and choose to follow His pattern of life by being truthful, having integrity, and treating others with love as well as loving ourselves, have been sactified, that is, set apart by God. To love ourselves is to honor God and be the best that we can be, in our health as well as our actions.
